When it was time for Tony to propose, he did it around her birthday with all their family together in one place. The weather was on our side as we set out for this memorable session on May 25, 2024. The engaged couple wanted some epic scenery for their engagement session. So again, our wonderful photographer Sammi met them at Petit Jean State Park in Morrilton, AR. Let me tell you, I am IN LOVE with these photos.

Quick Petit Jean State Park Overview
Petit Jean State Park is Arkansas’s first state park. It is a historic and natural treasure inspired by the legendary Petit Jean Mountain. Established in 1933, the park features rustic log and stone facilities built by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC). Some famous facilities include trails, cabins, bridges, and the iconic Mather Lodge overlooking Cedar Creek Canyon.
The lodge offers rooms, dining, and a cozy fireplace gathering spot. Nearby are 33 cabins, a 100-acre lake for fishing and boating, 125 campsites, and Rent-A-Yurts. Visitors enjoy hiking trails with scenic bluffs, waterfalls, and unique rock formations. The park also honors its history as a Trail of Tears National Historic Trail site.
