Capturing the beautiful morning light with Elyssa and Garrett’s engagement session was a delight. I met these two wonderful people early in the morning at a park around Conway, AR. Elyssa mentioned they were morning people and preferred an early session. I had such a drive that I couldn’t get there as early as I would have liked, but we made the most out of the harsh sun!
As we explored the park, the most adorable bridge became a perfect spot for some intimate and candid shots. We took photos on a cute little bank along the water that turned out great for some shade from the harsh morning sun. It created a magical touch to the images.
Elyssa and Garrett brought such a playful energy to their session. They had a lot of fun, specifically when Garrett jokingly lifted Elyssa while she leaned back over the water. She almost actually fell in, which gave us all a good laugh! 
It was a heart-stopping yet hilarious moment that added a touch of spontaneity to the shoot.
We made our way to the sunnier part of the bank, which offered a stunning view of some ridges in the background past the water. It was beautiful! Consequently, the natural beauty of the landscape added a serene backdrop to their photos. While we were in the middle of a photo sequence, some geese unexpectedly took off from behind them. As a result, we captured the geese mid-flight above the water in the photos—pretty cool!
Wrapping Up
Elyssa and Garrett’s session was filled with laughter, love, and a few unexpected moments that made it truly special. As I moved on to my next session, the memories of this morning’s shoot lingered with me. Indeed, Elyssa and Garrett’s joy, combined with the park’s natural beauty around Conway, AR, made for a perfect start to the day.
