The cold weather surprised us on the morning of October 27, 2024. We unexpectedly had a chilly St. Louis bridal shoot. We met Elizabeth at a beautiful park to capture her in her bridal dress. We powered through the chilly morning, with thick coats and blankets ready to wrap Elizabeth up whenever she needed it. With her wedding just around the corner in November, she had already thought ahead and found a clever way to winterize her dress—thank goodness! She wore skin-tone thermal insulated leggings, to stay warm, as her dress was wonderfully delicate and thin. We explored the park, finding hidden gems and picturesque spots to capture the day’s beauty. Each new location offered a fresh angle. It allows us to embrace the season’s natural beauty while keeping her gorgeous in every image.
As a photographer herself, she felt a bit strange being on the other side of the camera. However, she rocked it like a model! With her wedding just a month away, she was finalizing the details for her big day. We chatted about what it would be like—subtly foreshadowing that it would be cold then too!
