Danyelle and Lucas really wanted a bar aesthetic for their engagement session since they both really love to make and try new drinks together. We found a bar in KC that would allow photography and scheduled the session. Their outfits were ON POINT and they looked perfect together. The setting showcases cozy lighting, polished countertops, vintage bar stools, and shelves lined with colorful spirits. As a result, creating a unique bar-themed engagement session for our lovely bride-and-groom-to-be.

Danyelle and Lucas’ love story began in the most unexpected way—they met online. At the time, Danyelle had just ended a relationship and focused on rediscovering herself. But then Lucas entered her life, bringing a spark she didn’t see coming.
With his thoughtful approach, Lucas proposed a playful challenge: 12 dates. He gave her space to reflect and decide what she truly wanted. While creating moments filled with connection and possibility, little did they know, those dates would change everything. As fate would have it, their 12th date landed on Valentine’s Day. On that special day, Lucas asked Danyelle to be his girlfriend. And with a big smile, she said YES—marking the start of their beautiful journey together.

On a “very hot day” in a sunflower field, surrounded by nature’s beauty, Lucas dropped to one knee and asked her to spend forever with him.
