June 9, 2024, was a day to remember for enchanting scenic springs photography. After fighting a forecasted rainstorm all morning, Sierra, Alex, and I met at Blanchard Springs Caverns in Fifty-Six AR. Blanchard Springs Caverns is a stunning limestone cave system located over 200 feet underground in the Ozark–St. Francis National Forest. With a constant temperature of 58°F, the caverns attract visitors year-round, while great care is taken to preserve the unique ecosystem within.
Moments at the Enchanting Scenic Spring Caverns
The whole day was very dreary, sprinkled on us in the session, and super foggy by the spring! We channeled the vibes and went full force into the session. I made poor Sierra a little motion sick a couple of times–she took off her glasses for photos and I asked Alex to give her a spin… might not have been the best idea!
Save the Dates and Invitations: A Month-by-Month Guide for Brides
Sierra and Alex kept the energy high and the mood light, embracing their playful sides despite the weather’s challenges. The dim light and intricate cave formations provide a magical and mysterious atmosphere. As a result, it makes every image stunning. We also took advantage of the lush greenery along the trails around the caverns for romantic shots. Couples in these enchanting scenic springs dancing beneath the tree canopies create a tender moment, full of spontaneity and heartfelt emotion.
Professional Wedding Photographer: Why You Should Hire One
We had a lot of fun going to the spring and posing on the rocks, we were just careful not to fall since they were soooo slick. After we finished up photos in the spring, we went to a beach on the river where we took more casual photos. They changed into their second outfit to feel more comfortable and relaxed.
They tapped into their silly sides and had lots of fun posing and goofing around together. Before the session was over, we talked about wedding plans and how things were going. I can’t wait to get these two married next year!
