There are a few things I can talk about here– the first being not to wear anything that is super loud or “trendy” for your engagement session. We all remember the teal and chevron era, right??? Haha, it’s not a good look for engagement photos! Instead opt for a more classic look and avoid bight and bold colors. When in doubt, neutrals work amazingly well. You can always consult with your photographer beforehand for help with your outfits.
Secondly, you want to be comfortable. Make sure you can be photographed at any angle and are comfortable with your outfit choice. Your confidence will shine through the camera! Also, make sure what you wear is your style. This will cause you to stick out like a sore thumb if you are uncomfortable in your chosen outfit.
3. Accessories are essential to your outfit.
It is equally important to accessorize your outfits. From hair accessories to necklaces, bracelets, anklets, and Yes!, even your fiancé’s shoes! Nothing will stand out more than a piece of your outfit that was not thought about. Try to put together a complete outfit for the two of you.
