Candyce and Noah’s love story reaches a beautiful milestone with their heartfelt church wedding on September 28, 2024. Surrounded by their families and friends, their union is a touching reminder of God’s promises in our lives.
Their journey began where their faith was rooted—at church. Just as Candyce prepared to move away, a deeper connection sparked between them during a church camp in May. Their early dates were anything but ordinary. Sitting in separate cars, they would talk and laugh, shouting through their windows in the parking lot. By December, their bond grew so strong that Noah felt certain he wanted to spend forever with Candyce and started planning his proposal.
Noah bought the ring months before proposing and had everything carefully planned out. But, as it turns out, his plan didn’t go quite as expected—in the best way possible. Candyce unknowingly shut down his ideas every time he tried to propose, keeping him from following through. Ironically, this only made the moment even more of a surprise, as she had no clue when or how he would finally propose!

Crafting Timeless Memories at a Church Wedding
Their wedding day took place in the worship hall of their church. The couple married on the stage, which they decorated simply yet beautifully. They included a unity candle and shared communion, making the ceremony more meaningful. A sweet dedication was also made to Noah’s late mother, with a photo of her displayed during the ceremony. They also placed another on Candyce’s bouquet, honoring her memory in a heartfelt way.

Most Forgotten Things On Wedding Day: The Ultimate Checklist
The couple hosted their reception in another church building, adorning the space with simple blue table runners and white tablecloths. The wedding party took their seats on the stage, where flowers and runners added an elegant touch to their table. One of the highlights was a fun twist on the shoe game, where the bridal party voted on the answers by holding up pink paper for the bride and blue for the groom.
They shared a small cake, and when Noah returned for seconds, it was clear it was a hit! While they didn’t mingle much, they made time for some fun iPhone photos with a few guests. To add comfort, they also served chicken nuggets and mac and cheese—perfectly cozy and delicious! Guests stayed behind to create a magical moment, sending the couple off with a cheerful, bubble-filled farewell.
Indeed, Candyce and Noah’s heartfelt church wedding was full of emotions and love not only for each other but also for their family and God! We at Legend and Lace Studios are grateful to witness this kind of union. Cheers to your future as Mr. & Mrs. Yarbrough!
