A Love Story Years in the Making
Kylie and Dylan met in high school through a friend. Dylan’s buddy was dating Kylie’s friend, and one day, they all ended up hanging out at a park together. Amid the laughter and casual conversation, Kylie and Dylan hit it off. At the time, Kylie was in a relationship, so their connection remained friendly. But fate ended up bringing them back together. After Kylie’s relationship ended, Dylan saw the perfect opportunity to turn their easygoing friendship into something more. Their first official outing? A classic and cozy date—grabbing a bite at Chick-fil-A before heading to the movies. That simple night out marked the beginning of their journey together, proving that sometimes, love finds you in the most unexpected ways.
Fast forward four years into their relationship, and Dylan popped the question on a lakeside dock that held a special place in their hearts. They had spent countless summers there, making memories together. While Dylan was nervous about the proposal, his biggest worry was dropping the ring through the cracks of the dock! Kylie had no idea what was coming until he pulled out the ring. It was a moment as heartfelt as it was picturesque. Once they came down from the high of being newly engaged, the two decided to have their union at The Barn at Greers Ferry Lake

Kylie originally reached out to us because we had photographed a few weddings of people she knew–and it was so cool! One of our previous couples was IN the wedding party! Kylie and Dylan chose to keep the magic of their first look for the aisle, but they still wanted to share a meaningful moment together before the ceremony. Instead of seeing each other, they opted for a heartfelt first touch around the corner of a grand staircase. With their hands intertwined, they exchanged sweet words and deep breaths, soaking in the emotions of the day. The anticipation, the love, and the quiet excitement made for incredibly touching photos—capturing the beauty of their connection just moments before saying “I do.”
The Barn at Greers Ferry’s view from the backyard is absolutely beautiful and made the perfect backdrop for photos. For their grand exit, guests hold sparklers to create a glowing pathway for the newlyweds to walk through. A magical moment for the couple’s evening wedding and creates stunning, sparkling photos.
