Nina and Robert first crossed paths at work after Rob returned to Chicago upon graduating from college. At first, Rob made a few moves, but it wasn’t until Nina considered them a good match that things clicked. After their first date, it was clear—there were many more dates to follow. As the days passed, those dates brought them closer to the love and bond they would eventually share on their wedding day.

Nina and Robert tied the knot at Mission Hills. The day started very windy, making outdoor photos challenging. We carefully timed the ceremony space shots and groomsmen photos to avoid the strong gusts of wind. By the time the ceremony started, the wind had just calmed down enough for the festivities. While standing at the altar, the wind blew just enough to give Nina’s veil the perfect lift.
Their fantastic wedding coordinator, Anna, helped make their day run smoothly—big shoutout to her for being absolutely amazing! Their officiant, who also happened to be their boss, did an amazing job leading the ceremony, weaving in heartfelt and personal touches that made the moment truly special. We captured family formals, wedding party photos, and stunning portraits of the bride and groom right after the ceremony. Once the portraits were complete, it was time to head into the reception and kick off the celebration!
