A Winter to Remember

On a chilly December morning, my husband and I made the trip to Mount Magazine State Park to meet with Lucy and Ethan. The lodge served as our rendezvous point, and from there, we set off to explore the overlook trails, capturing breathtaking photos along the way.
Lucy and Ethan had already said “I do” at the courthouse but wanted photos that reflected their adventurous spirits. So why not go to the highest elevation point in arkansas for photos? Mount Magazine is a location as bold and beautiful as their love story.
As we strolled along the trails, I couldn’t help but ask about their four mastiffs—yes, four! I asked why they didn’t bring their fur babies along knowing they wouldn’t all fit with them in their truck! They have 4 cuddle bugs that they sleep with like the big babies they are!
The Magic of Bridal Sessions: Why Every Bride Should Have One

Eloping at Mount Magazine State Park
Lucy and Ethan are the outdoor type, if that wasn’t evident throughout their Mount Magazine session. Lucy, in particular, showed a fearless streak. While talking during their session, she ventured close to a ledge for a shot. I couldn’t resist calling out, “be careful that it is so high and close to a ledge!” She just smiled and casually mentioned to me she loves to rock climb. In addition, she has done many rescue missions and recoveries in mountains and canyons before. Pretty impressive and scary to me! Hahah!

Magical Forest Elopement: Kelsey and Thomas’s Rainy Wedding
Despite the chilly weather, Lucy’s style brought warmth and aesthetic to every photo. For instance, they carried a charming little backpack with her bouquet . It was stunning and the vibrant arrangement popped against the rugged winter backdrop. As a result, added a fun to every portraits. Her dress flowed elegantly in the breeze, paired perfectly with a cozy sweater she added for warmth. And let’s not forget the adorable white toboggan she donned toward the end of the session—it was the cherry on top of an already picturesque scene. Thank you for this wonderful experience together with the two lovely and sweet couple.
